ALWAYS apply for Unemployment benefits... you and your boss have effectively already paid for it and it does take a while to get rolling.

Temp agencies are another ok way to go when it gets bad... lots of temp to perm opportunites out there now-a-days. Temp agencies will interfer with unemployment though, so decide which is worth more to you immediately.

When unemployment works the best is when you can work somewhere 'under the table' so you get both $$ from state and $$ from wherever else. That is, if things get really bad and you need to perform trickery to make ends meet.

Temp agencies are good, especially if you can find one that specializes in your line of work. I got my last job that way.

Gotcha ... so when I show up for my Kelly Girl assignment ... be wearing my best pumps ... the leather banana hammock (freshly oiled, thanks TTA) ... but keep the speedo black ... I think I got it ...

Maybe I could wear a striped tie too? Just to get the slimming effect ... hmmm ...

I'm kinding curious as to how Bel's doing today ... that first Monday is always a tough one ...
